Daisy & Brownie Princess At Heart 2007 |
| |
| In November, approximately 100 Daisy & Brownie Girl Scouts enjoyed learning about the qualities that make a “real” Princess – honesty, imagination, integrity, friendship and fairness. Through games and activities, the girls learned that being a princess has nothing to do with beauty, wealth or privilege. As a result of the community service project assigned to this event, 81 pairs of gloves, 27 toboggans and 10 scarves were collected for residents of the Children’s Home in Paragould. Special guest for the day was Hollyann Crum, 2007 Miss Northeast Arkansas. Hollyann helped the girls use their imaginations to create their own version of the Cinderella Story. Volunteers of the COMPASS Team planned the event; special thanks to North Main Baptist Church, Chick-fil-A, Craighead County Library & St. Bernard’s, and all who helped make this an enjoyable event. |
