SCIENCE FUN
Daisy Girl Scouts are invited to have fun exploring the world of science and receive a “Science Fun” participation patch. The traveling shop will also be at this event.
When: January 20, 2007
Where: Cathedral Baptist Family Life Center
2706 Alexander Dr., Jonesboro (behind Outback Steakhouse)
What Time: 10:00 am – Noon
Cost: $1 per girl. (This event is being partially funded through a grant from the Women’s Foundation of Arkansas)
Deadline to Register: January 8, 2007
Limit of Participants: 75 minimum / 200 maximum
Service Project: Each girl is asked to bring one new or gently used children’s book to be donated to the Women’s Shelter.
Ø In case of bad weather on day of event, call 932-2833 to inquire about event cancellation
Ø Patches will be given to Leaders for presentation at troop awards ceremonies
Ø Leaders should come prepared to help their girls with activities
Ø Due to limited space, NO TAGALONGS, please
**Requests for refunds will be honored only if the council office is notified at least seven days prior to the event or with a doctor’s excuse in case of illness.
