SCIENCE IN ACTION
Brownie Girl Scouts are invited to have fun exploring the world of science while earning their “Science in Action” badge, which they will receive at the event. The traveling shop will also be at this event.
When: January 20, 2007
Where: Cathedral Baptist Family Life Center
2706 Alexander Dr., Jonesboro (behind Outback Steakhouse)
What Time: 1:00 – 3:00 pm
Cost: $1 per girl. (This event is being partially funded through a grant from the Women’s Foundation of Arkansas)
Deadline to Register: January 8, 2007
Limit of Participants: 75 minimum / 200 maximum
Service Project: Each girl is asked to bring one new or gently used children’s book to be donated to the Women’s Shelter.
Ø In case of bad weather on day of event, call 932-2833 to inquire about event cancellation
Ø Try-Its will be given to Leaders for presentation at troop awards ceremonies
Ø Leaders should come prepared to help their girls with activities
Ø Due to limited space, NO TAGALONGS, please
**Requests for refunds will be honored only if the council office is notified at least seven days prior to the event or with a doctor’s excuse in case of illness.
