Boston Butt Sale

Help us bring back canoes and update our lifejackets at CCA by purchasing a Boston Butt or two.  The Girl Scouts of Crowley’s Ridge Council will begin selling Boston Butts March 1 to raise money for canoes and lifejackets at CCA.  Payment must be made at time of order and you’ll receive a ticket to present for pick up on Saturday, March 31, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Girl Scout Services Center.   The River City Spice Company in Blytheville will cook the Boston Butts, which will be sold for $25.   Spend the rest of the day shopping or enjoy your delicious Boston Butt by having a picnic in the park.  While you’re here, top off the day by attending the Girl Scout Talent Show at The Forum in Downtown Jonesboro.  Another great day in Girl Scouting!  Please contact Carol Caldwell at 870-932-2833 ext. 110 for more information or to place an order.

Just for Juniors:

Theater Badge Workshop

Junior Girl Scouts are invited to have fun exploring the world of theater while earning the Junior Girl Scout Theater badge, which they will receive at the event.  This event is being provided by Jonesboro High School’s Thespian Troupe and will include a live performance.

            When:                                    Friday, March 2, 2007

            Where:                                  Jonesboro High School

                                                            301 Hurricane Drive, Jonesboro

Use main entrance to school – facing corner of Main and College        

                                                            *See note about parking

            What Time:                           6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

            Cost:                                      $5 per girl – cost includes the Theater Badge

            Deadline to Register:        February 19, 2007

*Due to the fact that JHS is hosting the state basketball tournament on this evening, parking will be at a premium.  We suggest you carpool as much as possible to limit the number of vehicles on campus.  There are several parking areas on campus but you will only be able to use the main entrance to the building to access the event.

**Requests for refunds will be honored only if the council office is notified at least seven days prior to the event or with a doctor’s excuse in case of illness.
